With a large floor space for circulating, the Kirk is an ideal setting for exhibitions. Works of art, including pictures, sculpture, carvings and furniture can be showed-off to great effect.
Exhibitions can be programmed for a Monday set-up and Tuesday to Saturday event. Ideally, exhibitions will be free of charge for the public to view and be programmed to coincide with the April to October visitor open season when the Kirk is open daily to the public.
Additional evening, private viewing or social events can be arranged by prior agreement for an extra fee. Owing to church services taking place on Sunday, the exhibition period would not normally be able to exceed six days.
The Kirk will be prepared by removing chairs and additional lighting can be provided in line with your statement of requirements. The Kirk does not possess any exhibition furniture – this should be brought in by the organiser.
Should you be interested in hiring the Kirk for an exhibition please contact the Operations manager by emailing here. Charges will depend on factors such as open times, heating, lighting and staffing requirements.
