This programme features composers Cécil Chaminade (1857-1944), Rebecca Clarke (1886-1879), Margarete Schweikert (1887-1957) and Marie Dare (1902-1976). Female composers are beginning to have the spotlight they deserve after being sidelined by their male colleagues for many years. This programme, full of vibrant, playful and beautiful music, will show you the joys of discovering new music, particularly from voices that have been so often ignored.

Every Thursday at noon, we open our doors to the city for an inspiring lunchtime concert series. Greyfriars at 12 began back in 2016 and we have been championing both rising local talent and acclaimed international musicians ever since.
