Approaching the Kirk’s 400th  anniversary (Christmas Day 2020) we are exploring our vision for the next 100 years. The present crisis means many are also thinking about what it means to be “church”. We would love to hear what you think – please complete our form.

You can find more about our anniversary plans, on our  400 years page. Though much is postponed (until it is safe to gather), we will still reflect on four continuous centuries of worship and community, and look forward to the future, through exploration of the sciences and arts, and spirituality.

Enjoy browsing this library for a range of audio and video recordings from the Kirk here. We are enjoying Richard Frazer’s series reading from his book “Travels with a Stick” on pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. Watch out for further items we are developing including meditations, reflections, music and more.

You can also vote for your favourite hymn: Our organist, Henry, and others look forward to recording some of these for online worship and music features. We will start to publish results soon! Place your vote here.

Various groups at the Kirk continue to meet regularly, including the Kirk Session and a chance to gather for a chat after the main service. To facilitate this, the Kirk has a Zoom account. We have prepared some Zoom Guidance Notes to help people get started with Zoom.

If you would like to receive occasional news from the Kirk about gatherings and community, please contact us. We ask that you provide at least two verifiable forms of contact information to help us keep our online gatherings safe.
