A Unique Experience

For the majority of concerts, the Kirk is hired out as a venue-only facility. 

The Kirk does not have a box office, but surplus tickets can be sold at the door on the day of the event. Tickets for events can be sold through third parties such as Eventbrite. The Usher Hall and Queens Hall have a box office facility that can be utilised for a fee. Each group or organisation giving a concert at the Kirk is responsible for their own ticket sales, marketing and publicity. However we will advertise the concert via our website and social media channels.

Post Concert Reception

Private receptions after a concert can be held subject to an additional hourly fee and prior arrangement with the Operations Manager.

Indicative scale of charges for hiring the Kirk is available on our Facilities & Pricing page. These charges are for single day hires; discounts are available for consecutive and regular bookings. All enquires for checking availability and hiring the Kirk should be made to the Operations Manager.

The Kirk will arrange management cover throughout the period of your hire. Volunteer stewards will also be on duty throughout the concert and their role is to man the fire exits and some of them may have completed a first aid course.  We provide non-alcoholic interval refreshments if requested.  At the end of the performance, we expect that performers will vacate the Kirk within 45 minutes so that our team can prepare for the next event.
