Streatham Choral was founded in 1921 and has entertained local people with high-quality music ever since. One of London’s largest and most vibrant amateur classical choirs, Streatham Choral is known for performing a wide range of repertoire in prestigious venues such as Cadogan Hall and Southwark Cathedral. The choir has been acclaimed for its emotionally moving and thrilling performances. Conductor Calum Fraser is praised for his ability “to blend them with storytelling ability as well as musical heft,” and the choir’s accompanist, Samuel Ali, is an outstanding organist who has performed across the UK and in Paris, Moscow, and Slovakia.
Following on from their previous successful Tours to Glasgow, Liverpool, and Bristol, Streatham Choral will be will be performing a series of free-to-attend lunchtime recitals in Edinburgh from Saturday, July 26th to Monday, July 28th.
