Welcome to part two of the 2026 Greyfriars@12 Autumn Series.
Scottish soprano Beth Stirling is currently undertaking her Master of Performance degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, taught by Sarah Pring. She previously earned her Bachelor of Music (Hons) at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in 2025, under Christopher Turner. During her time at RBC, she won the Stuart Cameron Smith American Song Prize in 2024. Other awards include joint first prize in the Birmingham Festival Choral Society Oratorio Prize.
Scottish-born Elizabeth Haughan is a pianist and educator. She has worked as both a soloist and collaborator in venues such as the Southbank Centre, the Wigmore Hall, Birmingham’s Symphony Hall and the V&A Museum. Particularly interested in collaborative and curation work, she has been involved in a variety of projects, most recently including researching piano works by Friedrich Kiel, resulting in an album with Naxos for their ‘Romantic Piano’ series released in October 2025.
On Thursday’s at noon, we open our doors to the city for an inspiring lunchtime concert series. Greyfriars at 12 began back in 2016 and we have been championing both rising local talent and acclaimed international musicians ever since.
Attendance is open to everyone, and donations are encouraged on the day.
If you would like to receive email updates about our lunchtime concert series, use this form to join the mailing list.
Please note our Midweek Prayers Service begins at 1:05pm after Thursday lunchtime concerts.
