Welcome to Greyfriars at 12, our free Thursday concert series. Today’s performance will be given by Simmerdim, an Edinburgh based a capella trio formed by Frances Cockburn, Ann Landmann and Lucy Carr-Locke.
Simmerdim is an Edinburgh-based a cappella trio; named after the long summer twilight in the far North of Scotland, when the sun briefly dips below the horizon and it is never truly dark.
We sing mostly original arrangements of an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary songs. We sing at festivals, in cafes, at book launches and we’re currently working on a programme for house concerts and other events.
