We’re delighted to welcome a Brass Quintet from The Band of The Royal Regiment of Scotland perform at the Kirk for a special Greyfriars@12.
The programme will feature music from composers such as Victor Ewald and Kevin McKee, along with some well-known classics.
The Band of The Royal Regiment of Scotland is a full-time military band within the British Army, based in Edinburgh, Scotland. The Band provides year-round musical support for many Scottish Regimental and British Army events, in addition to numerous State ceremonial occasions that occur in Scotland. This includes Gun Salutes, Garden Parties and Guards of Honour at The Palace of Holyrood House, and Edinburgh, Stirling and Balmoral Castles.
Throughout the year on Thursday’s at noon, we open our doors to the city for an inspiring lunchtime concert series. Greyfriars at 12 began back in 2016 and we have been championing both rising local talent and acclaimed international musicians ever since.
