Our Lunchtime Concert Series
Every Thursday at noon, we open our doors to the city for an inspiring lunchtime concert series. Greyfriars at 12 began back in 2016 and we have been championing both rising local talent and acclaimed international musicians ever since.
We’re proud to collaborate closely with local students both at the University of Edinburgh, and St Mary’s Music School, alongside welcoming outstanding soloists and small ensembles from across the world. With an in-house grand piano (Yamaha C6X, 2014), a magnificent 3-manual Peter Collins organ, and outstanding acoustics, our Sanctuary is the perfect setting for 45 minutes of live music.
The series runs weekly during autumn, winter and spring terms at 12 o’clock on Thursday afternoons. During the summer we hold our annual Summer Organ Series. Our Greyfriars at 12 Coordinator and Outreach team are responsible for managing the series and they are interested to hear from anyone interested in taking part in Greyfriars at 12.
